At iBOS, we are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students in their iGCSE examinations, with many taking up to 10 or 11 subjects at KS4.
In Summer 2021, our first cohort of international GCSE students achieved exceptional results, with 100% securing grades 9-7. Although the group consisted of just five students, their performance set a high standard for future cohorts.
The success continued in Summer 2022, where 20% of our students earned grades 9-8*, 87% secured grades 9-5, and 100% passed their exams. This remarkable achievement came from a group of seven Year 8 students, demonstrating their academic excellence at a young age.
By Summer 2023, we saw our largest cohort of 10 students, with 22% of grades at 9-8, 34% at 9-7, and 100% achieving grades 9-4. Many students pursued 10 iGCSEs, including Maths, Separate Sciences, and English Literature and Language, reflecting their determination and commitment to excellence.
In Summer 2024, we continued our tradition of high performance with a smaller cohort. Of these students, 18.8% achieved grades 9-8, 24.4% secured grades 9-7, and 92% achieved grades 9-4.
iBOS consistently outperforms the UK national average in grades and Progress 8 scores, with every student demonstrating strong attainment. These exceptional results are a testament to the dedication of our students and the unwavering support from our teaching team. We are also thrilled to announce that our sixth-form student, Toqa Khodair, has been named “Best Student of the Year” at the prestigious British Education Awards 2024, a reflection of her hard work and dedication.
