George is a senior executive with extensive experience across the property, hospitality, and financial services sectors. Over the course of his career he has successfully run his own property company and advised a range of businesses on property maintenance, commercial operations, and hospitality management. Earlier in his career, George spent eleven years in Sydney where he worked across financial services, luxury brand sales, and hospitality, gaining valuable international experience in client relations, operations, and business development. Although George’s professional background is outside the education sector, he brings strong strategic, financial, and operational expertise to the governing body. He has served as Chair of Governors for the past two years, providing leadership, oversight, and support to the school’s senior leadership team. George is deeply committed to the value of education and is passionate about sharing knowledge and contributing to initiatives that improve opportunities for young people. George currently works as a consultant with Squire and Partners, a leading architectural practice, where he oversees property maintenance, commercial leasing, and the hospitality elements of the business. Outside of his professional work, George has a strong interest in art, cooking, and spending time in the countryside walking his dog. Known for his broad knowledge and practical approach, he is always willing to contribute his experience and support the work of the school.
