Current pupil and family privacy information is available from the school, including information relevant to school operations, safeguarding and learning platforms.

Use the school contact route to request the current notice, ask how personal data is handled or make a data-rights request.

Analytics and marketing run only if you allow them; until then nothing is sent to Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn or OpenAI. You can allow either, both or neither, your choice is asked again after twelve months, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page. Each choice is recorded against a random consent ID, shown under Cookie settings, with no name, email or IP address; quote that ID if you have a question about a choice you made. Records are deleted after three years. Durations below are the longest each cookie lasts.

• Essential — ibos-consent (browser storage): remembers your cookie choices and their consent ID for twelve months.

• Essential — live chat (chat.ibos.school): the chat button is the school’s own chat. A conversation is kept there so the school can reply.

• Analytics — _ga and _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics): count visits and keep the state of the current visit; 13 months.

• Analytics — _clck and _clsk (Microsoft Clarity): record how pages are used, including clicks and scrolling, so confusing pages can be improved; one year and one day. Clarity’s default settings mask what you type into forms.

• Analytics — CLID, MUID, MR, SM, SRM_B and ANONCHK (Microsoft, on clarity.ms and bing.com): Microsoft’s own cookies set when Clarity runs; up to 13 months, under Microsoft’s privacy statement.

• Marketing — _gcl_au and _gcl_ls (Google Ads, on this site) and IDE (Google, on doubleclick.net): link a visit to the Google advert that led to it and measure enquiries; 90 days, and 13 months for IDE.

• Marketing — _fbp and lastExternalReferrer (Meta): link a visit to a Facebook or Instagram advert and measure registrations; 90 days.

• Marketing — bcookie, li_gc and lidc (LinkedIn, on linkedin.com): measure LinkedIn adverts and conversions; up to one year.

• Marketing — __obref (OpenAI, on this site) and __cf_bm and _cfuvid (on openai.com): measure adverts shown in ChatGPT and protect OpenAI’s service; one year for __obref and one visit for the others.

• YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com): films load from YouTube only when you press play, and YouTube’s own privacy terms then apply.

• Withdrawing a category stops its tools and deletes their cookies and browser storage from this website. Cookies that Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn or OpenAI set on their own domains can be cleared in your browser settings.
