iBOS teachers deliver lessons from the school’s London base, which supports consistent teaching, safeguarding oversight and the accountable school structure families expect.
International A Levels are taught live by subject specialists from the iBOS school building in London. Students question, discuss and receive direct academic feedback in every lesson.
Course research, subject fit, applications, UCAS and personal statement support, references and individual guidance are treated as part of Sixth Form, not an optional extra at the end.
iBOS is accredited by the Department for Education after an Ofsted inspection found the school met all the minimum standards, and is accredited by the Council of International Schools. The primary records are public.
For pupils who need a different setting, including young athletes and performers, the timetable, attendance and qualifications stay those of one accountable school. Learning-support needs are discussed openly with Admissions before a place is offered.
Students take fewer subjects than at iGCSE so they can develop the depth, argument and independent study expected before university. Admissions and the academic team consider prior attainment, strengths and intended degree or career routes before confirming a programme.
Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics, Business, Geography, History, Law, Psychology, English Language and English Literature.
International A Levels are accepted by universities in the UK and worldwide. Former iBOS students have gone on to universities including Imperial College London, King’s College London, UCL, Loughborough, York and Yale.
Results are published year by year with cohort context beside every figure. A past destination does not guarantee admission for a future applicant.

School is shared, not solitary. Pupils attend live lessons, form time and assemblies with the same classmates, clubs and enrichment let them meet others beyond their timetable, and student council and leadership roles give them an active part in school life.
The school day runs Monday to Friday in UK time. It starts at 07:15 with form time or an assembly, followed by five one-hour live lessons with a fifteen-minute morning break and a full lunch break away from the screen. The taught day ends at 13:45; optional enrichment clubs run until 14:45 on club days.
School staff teach, assess, report and manage the academic programme. Families support routines, equipment, communication and wellbeing, but they are not expected to replace subject teachers. A stable connection of at least 8 Mbps download and 4 Mbps upload is recommended for live lessons.
