Sixth Form Admission Policy
Admission to the sixth form is in line with the whole school admissions policy, additionally:
- Admission to particular courses in iA Level will depend on the school being able to run the courses and there being vacancies on them, individual courses have a maximum number of places available and specific subject entry requirements.
- Applicants are asked to note that an offer of a sixth form place will always be conditional upon achieving the iGCSE grades, the minimum expectation in mathematics and English is a grade 5/6.
- An assessment of suitability for an international A level course will be made from information about expected performance at GCSE or iGCSE which will be sought from each pupil’s current school.
- Applications will be invited to attend a course suitability discussion at the school with the senior leadership team and each applicant will be dealt on an individual basis.
